I was recently asked to collaborate with the extremely talented Kirsty Mccall and as you can probably imagine, I jumped at the opportunity. Kirsty has such a fantastic creative style and I was so excited to let her play with my hair!
We spent a Sunday morning in her studio, laughing, putting the world to rights, drinking prosecco and most importantly, experimenting with so many different hairstyles. Every single one of the styles that Kirsty created was so beautiful, surprisingly some of the styles were so quick and easy that you can try them yourself at home (more to come on this soon).
We made curls, braids, ponytails, chignons, messy buns and much more, so I wanted to show you a few of my favourites.

The first of my favourites had to be the curls. You just cannot go wrong with a good set of curls. Kirsty used BaByliss PRO straighteners to create this look, I am normally a ghd girl myself, but I was pretty impressed. The outside frame of the straighteners heats as well as the inside plates, so gives even more definition to the entirety of the curl. Curls are my regular go-to hairstyle, they are easy to create but they look big… and full of secrets!

My second favourite was the messy bun. Sometimes you just need to throw your hair up neatly, but still look a little messy, you know what I mean right? I rarely wear my hair up because I do not like it to look tight. I hate my hair pulled back, I am certainly not J.Lo, however Kirsty created a style that was voluminous, neat and messy all at once, and I think it would look beautiful whether at a wedding or even the gym. So I am a big fan!

Last, but certainly not least, had to be the Khaleesi Mother of Dragons hair. I literally felt like a warrior Princess and I could not believe how detailed this look was. Now, it is probably not a style I will have time to create before work each day, but I can assure you, when I finally purchase tickets and make it to Coachella, THIS will be my hairstyle! Every. Single. Day.
I am so in love with these styles, I need Kirsty as my personal hairstylist. That’ll be the day! Be sure to check out Kirsty’s other looks, styles and makeup on her gram and please let me know your favourites.
