My honest opinion of Olaplex

This week has been an amazing Olaplex-filled week so far. Hopefully you have managed to stay up to date! If not, then please check out my most recent IGTV tutorial here. Myself and the amazing Sally Team also have a competition running for you guys, so please check it out here if you would like to be in with the chance of winning the full Olaplex range. #sallytribe

Now I have said this before and I will say it many times again, I will never tell you I love a product if that simply is not true.

My job as a hair blogger/vlogger, is to talk to you honestly about products, styles, ranges and salons. I want you all to have healthy, happy hair and that starts with what you chose to do with it/apply to it, I can only advise. But my advice is always honest, with only the best intentions for my followers.

When I posted my recent Olaplex videos, I received SO many messages from you guys. Now yes, my collaboration with Sally Beauty UK does include a paid promotion but everything I have said to you regarding the Olaplex products, has been 100% true.

Having never use the products previously, I was SO excited to try the Olaplex range. I have heard so much around the brand recently and knew it was something my locks needed to test out for themselves.

I was sent the full Olaplex range that can be used from home. Starting with No. 3 Hair Perfector, all the way through to the BRAND NEW No. 7 Bonding Oil.

Where do I even begin? Well lets start at the beginning. I am not going to go into detail on the shampoo and conditioner in this post, as I will do this in a upcoming video, but heres what I HONESTLY thought of the other products.

No. 3 Hair Perfector

Although only a small bottle, the product goes a VERY long way. If you check out my video here, I show you how much I apply and how much is then left in the bottle afterwards. As I have so much hair, I was extremely generous when applying this product. I applied multiple amounts to my full-head, as well as splitting my hair into sections and applying even more of the product, to ensure it was absorbed all over.

Olaplex recommend a minimum of 10 minutes wearing this product. The longer it’s on, the more effective! I ended up leaving it on for about 20 minutes, but in that time alone, the results were fantastic. Once rinsed, I could instantly feel a difference in the weight of my hair and scalp. It felt smoother and was a much nicer process when shampooing and conditioning immediately afterwards.

Conclusion = Incredible product.

No. 6 Bond Smoother

You can apply to wet or dry hair, I applied to damp hair after washing. This was a really smoothing product that helped to calm and detangle my hair, before combing through. This is also a protecting and hydrating product, so great to apply before styling. Just check out my IGTV vid and look at how GLOSSY my hair looks whilst brushing through when wet.

My hair has honestly never looked this good.

Conclusion = Again, incredible product.

No. 7 Bonding Oil

The oil is absolutely beautiful, really helps to tame frizz, as well as containing properties that help to repair dry and damaged hair. I applied this oil to my hair whilst damp, I loved it so much, I then applied again once dry, after styling. I am now officially hooked. I will do exactly this, after every wash moving forward. It is, hands down, the best liquid oil I have ever used. Between this and the Hair Perfector, these were my favourite two products.

Conclusion = But the Bonding Oil is probably my favourite product.

In a nutshell, my honest opinion of the Olaplex take home range; I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the stuff.
