What an incredible day I had yesterday; I was invited by the amazing team at Green People UK to attend the press launch of their new and improved sun care range which took place at The Bloomsbury Hotel, London.
Green People are an incredible organic lifestyle brand. Their products are vegan, cruelty free and now… they are the one of the first brands worldwide to launch a sun lotion with packaging made from 100% plant based materials, that is reef safe and non-toxic to marine life.
As if they couldn’t get any better, Green People also have an amazing hair care range, which you may have seen in my stories, as I have been using their products regularly since the beginning of April.
The Green People hair products are completely natural, organic, gluten-free and most importantly, they are gentle.
When Green People first reached out, they took the time to ask what my main hair concerns were and then recommended a suitable range. I loved that they did this, as it showed a genuine personal interest. If you would like to watch the unboxing of these stunning products you can check out my recent IGTV vid here.
I received 3 of their hair care products and here is what I thought:
Quinoa & Artichoke Volumising Shampoo & Conditioner
I could honestly feel how natural these products were as soon as I used them on my hair. The shampoo is 81% organic and the conditioner is 91% organic, as well as being rich in antioxidants.
The shampoo is a lightweight gel formula, that gently strips away the dirt and pollution wrapped within your hair. I only used a small amount of shampoo before I could really feel a difference. As always, I shampooed twice and it was so obvious from the touch, that there were no nasty chemicals left within my hair.
The conditioner is a creamy white lotion that adds nourishment and shine. Both shampoo and conditioner are scented with citrus and ginger which adds a lovely natural smell and texture.
I used a rather large handful of the conditioner when applying to my hair, I usually do this anyway as I have very thick hair, however I probably used a little more than usual, just to ensure my hair was fully nourished.
Quinoa & Avocado Hair Serum
I love avocado any day of the week, so adding it to my hair routine has made me a very happy lady. Avocados are full of SO much natural goodness including; natural fats and oils. I can only imagine how great they are for my hair.
The serum is truly amazing, a non-sticky gel formula, that adds hold and extra condition. I applied this to my hair whilst wet, to help with detangling before brushing and it worked amazingly.
The serum comes in a 100ml bottle so thankfully, this means I can take this with me everywhere, even abroad when I am hand luggage only.
I believe it is healthy to mix up the products you use on your hair every now and then and I will certainly be keeping the Green People hair care range within my regularly used product routine.
What’s more, Green People care so much about our environment, all of their packing is 100% recyclable and as mentioned above, they are now producing packaging that is made completely from sugar cane. I am now just hoping they introduce this packaging throughout their entire hair care range too.
I want my children (Stanley) to have a long and healthy future in this beautiful world. Animals deserve this earth so much more than we humans ever will. So I am keen to ensure that I am doing everything I possibly can to keep our land and oceans alive and using brands like Green People, who are contributing to making this world greener are always going to be my number one.
Have you tried any of the Green People products and if so, what were your thoughts? Have a lovely evening all!
