The products keeping my hair bold and bouncy

There is a lot to factor when selecting a shampoo and conditioner right? Does it provide hair care, colour, strength, volume, is it eco-friendly and finally, will it keep my hair clean all week? Because the only shampoo that is going on my head Monday – Friday is the dry kind. I have been asked a lot of questions about the products I use on my hair and this brand is by far my current favourite!

Maria Nila is a Swedish brand, her products are incredible and I have been using them consistently for months now. Maria has a full range for all hair types and I have honestly used them all. My current regime is focusing on colour, so unsurprisingly at present, I am using Maria Nila’s Luminous Colour shampoo and conditioner. Not only are her products simply amazing, there is something in particular that makes this brand stand out from the rest. Keep reading and I will explain all.

The shampoo

I regularly bleach and highlight my hair, so it is important for me to keep the blonde locks looking and feeling healthy. The Luminous Colour shampoo has really strengthened my hair, whilst keeping the blonde bright and bold. This particular Maria Nila product is made with pomegranate extract so also leaves my hair smelling delicious.

The conditioner

I have said it before and I will say it again, layer this stuff on. This is a creamy conditioner that helps to moisturise your hair and boy does mine need it! Before washing out in the shower, I always leave this conditioner in for at least a minute or so, which has certainly helped maintain the condition of my hair. Both of these products can be found at your nearest Sally Beauty store or order online at Amazon.

The best part

Now my love for hair is great, but my love for animals is even greater… like a million times over. At the start of this year, after eating meat my entire life, I decided to become a ‘flexi-veggie’. I chose to do this for no other reason than, I love animals. I aim for my diet to consist mainly, or at times completely, of meat-free produce and I surprisingly found it much easier than I originally thought.

Now I am certainly not here to preach, do as you please but just respect other peoples decisions. As human beings I believe it is natural to eat meat, I just simply hate that we mass breed animals to slaughter them. I am also completely against animal cruelty and animal product testing, I am astonished that in this day and age it still happens.

So this really is the best bit, Maria Nila’s products are NEVER tested on animals. They are 100% vegan, cruelty free and they are supported by the Vegan Society, PETA and Leaping Bunny. They develop these products as and for, animal lovers.

“Animals fill our lives with joy and laughter, and should therefore never be part of a beauty product.”

I just can’t even… *insert streaming crying face emoji here*

Thank you

Thank you Maria Nila for not only keeping my hair healthy and strong, but for most importantly, taking the time to develop products with a genuine love and care for our planet and its animals. You have allowed me to realise the significance of using cruelty free products.
