Being me…

I have been so quiet on here for the last month and it really upsets me. I love writing and I love my little tribe that support everything that I do and always keep up to date. Thank you tribe, you know who you are.

If you follow my Insta I am sure you will already know, there have been many changes in my life recently, all VERY positive I must say. However these changes have been keeping me extremely busy!

First and foremost, we had a baby, a fur baby called Stanley and I am so in love. He has so much character and is super chilled, but we gave in too soon and let him sleep in our bed. No lie, he now sleeps on my head.

Secondly, I quit my job. Which in turn led me to start my own business. I honestly and unashamedly can say, I could not be more proud of myself.

The new business is something I have been thinking about for SUCH a long time (also quitting my job a little too). I knew long-term it was what I wanted to do, I just wasn’t sure when. Then an opportunity arose, everything completely fell into place, including Stanley, and timing could not have been anymore perfect.

For so long I kept ‘thinking about it’ and just talking about it, when actually, I just needed to go do it! If you want something, make it happen, it is totally within your power.

I was so sick of the 9-5, working my tits off for someone else and feeling zero sense of true accomplishment for anything that I did. I have so much drive and passion, I needed to find something to channel this into for myself. And one day, last week, International Women’s Day to be precise, I decided enough was enough! In 24 hours I set up my business, my website was live and I had my first set of clients!

Now, it is not all going to be that easy, I am fully aware of that, but I have never been more driven to make something work. It also now means that I can focus more on my blog. I have so many updates for you and have recently worked with some incredible new and existing brands. I want to continue working on my blog as much as possible because it truly feeds my soul. I genuinely just want to help others in any way that I can, and as I have a lot of healthy hair, I thought I would start here!

Finally, I have written a petition! This is currently sat with the UK Government and Parliament for approval. If they do not approve it, I will simply re-write and re-submit. However if they do, I have this update coming for you very soon too. Now not everyone will agree with my petition, but in short, I do not give a s**t, because I know this could genuinely help change some peoples lives, in more ways than most people will ever know. So positive vibes this way are again much appreciated.

So, as you can now probably tell, I have been quite busy, but in such empowering ways, I am SO ready to take on the world.
