This is me

This is me:

I have been writing for a little while now. I enjoy it, I just struggle to find the time to do it as much as I would like. I have been writing privately as I was worried what people might think or say, however I have finally reached a point where self-belief has overridden the feeling of self-doubt.

I had a lot of questions before writing this piece and overtime I formed my own answers. We live in a modern world, where through social media and the internet, strangers could know more about you than people you grew up with. Scary right? This is not for everyone, I get that, at times I have to take a moment to consider, how comfortable am I not truly knowing who is reading this? However, I believe you should do things every day that scare you.

What will you find here?

A lot, hopefully. I recently turned 29 and the burning passion to fulfil life has never been so apparent. I am independent, I am bold, and I want to use my voice.

I love to travel, eat and curl my hair, amongst many other things, and they will all form a foundation of what I intend to talk about here. I get myself into situations at times because I am so opinionated, at least now I have a platform to vent if my boyfriend isn’t willing to listen.

I am viewing this blog as my life diary. An opportunity to create memories, give myself a means to remember them and share those memories with others that wish to join.

Do I have a theme?

I have spent too long worrying about a consistent theme and I have finally realised, it does not matter. I held off on getting started for this reason and I don’t even know why.

I am doing this because I like to talk, a lot, I like to share experiences and ideas, and whether people choose to follow is entirely up to them. My so called ‘theme’ may develop over time, however I believe, if I write with the intention of making myself and others happy, this is a strong enough theme in itself.

Do I intend to vlog?

Absolutely. I believe vlogging is the future of blogging and I have some ideas that I would love to share soon. It also means my poor friends can now at least press pause when they’ve heard enough of my annoying voice for one day.

Note to self.

Be positive and do what makes you happy. Do not allow self-doubt to ever stand in your way.

Happy Sunday.

Such a beautiful and intelligent woman, would be a pity not to have a vlog section as well. Good words, style, easy to read. Well done!
